A pair of enterprising developers hit on the idea of Paris print photos from smart-phones in new ways and this is not nostalgia for Polaroid. Their development, Print gadget is a small device, which is inserted into the body of the smart phone, allowing you to print images directly from the device. This in itself is a small feat although the size and form factor devices do leave a pleasant impression.
Rational in this case is that the application is running gadget while shooting. Like any other applications for shooting, print record short video when shutter button is pressed and then, when you view it, you can assign a physical marker to the desired frame, allowing you to view the associated video.
For example, if you put the camera to print photos at runtime Print, on the smart-phone screen button will appear Play, superimposed on the displayed image. By clicking on it, you can view the video, which was recorded at the time of shooting this photo.
This is kind of Snap-chat, and one of the possibilities Print lets you take any picture and assign it an arbitrary video on your taste.
Print start campaign on Kick-starter in 2015. The Starting price of the device is only 99 dollars. Initially, it will be designed for Android and IOS smart-phones with screens within 4 inches. The future plans include the implementation of support developers Phablet like Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or iPhone 6 Plus.
The final product will retain up to 30 sheets of paper with a heat sensitive ink and the entire printing process takes about 30 seconds - or more if the connection is via Bluetooth.
Print team will participate in the CES in January next year in Las Vegas.
