Bar Restaurant In The Bank Vault

In the heart of the financial center of New York has a bar hidden inside an old bank vault, which build in 1904.

Bar-restaurant Trinity Place is in the basement of the building, which earlier housed the Bank of New York Realty. Built by Mosler Safe Company, a box for storage of the bank, which now occupies the bar was so large and heavy that it was sent to the Hudson River and then taken to the place on a specially built railway. Road passed from Battery Park in a house at 115 Broadway. The box was unusual in that it had two entrances at both ends, and each door weighs 35 tons.

In fact, the building at 115 Broadway was built around the safe. Developed a draft Francis Kimball, who raised the same building at 111 Broadway.
